Reports summarize how published requirements appear to apply to the project details you provide.

Not professional advice. Reports are not legal advice, engineering or architectural services, architectural opinions, or a substitute for a licensed design professional, attorney, or official determination by the Chicago Department of Buildings or other authority.

No approval guarantee. Reports do not guarantee permit approval, zoning approval, code compliance, inspection outcomes, or any government action. Final authority rests with the City of Chicago and its code officials. Always verify against the current code and consult licensed professionals before relying on a report for construction or permitting decisions.

Payment and delivery. Reports are digital goods delivered after checkout to the email you provide. You are charged once before report generation. There is no subscription and no hidden fee.

Refund policy. Because reports are generated and delivered digitally within minutes, completed report orders are generally non-refundable once generated. If a technical issue prevents delivery, contact support@permitopinion.com and we will review the issue.

Your responsibilities. You are responsible for providing accurate project details and for using the reports lawfully. Do not use the service to submit false information, bypass professional review, or rely on a report as final permission to build.
